San Francisco Beer Week at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company 2019
SF Beer Week is coming and Half Moon Bay Brewing Company and Pacific Standard Tap Room will have several special beer releases which will be available at both locations. We will also have a handful of great events at the brewery and the tap room. SF Beer week is February 1st - 10th. Join us for a week full of great beer!

The Coast Guild’s official SF Beer Week Brew:
Kol-i sch-ee
A collaboration brew by the Bay Area Brewers Guild’s Coastal Chapter, brewed at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company; a Kölsch style ale brewed with Admiral Pilsner Malt, Hallertau Blanc, and Galaxy hops, with a touch of lime leaves. Coastal Chapter Members: Alvarado Street Brewery, Brewery Twenty Five, Discretion Brewing, Elkhorn Slough Brewing Company, Fruition Brewing, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company, Hop Dogma Brewing Company, New Bohemia Brewing Company, Seabright Brewery, and Shanty Shack Brewing. 5.4% ABV
Lost in the Fog IPA
A mango and pineapple milkshake IPA, brewed with friends in the fog: Hop Dogma Brewing Company and Sacrilege Brewery.
BBA Damage Inc. Imperial Stout
Inspired by brewers back in the 1800's to win over the Russian Czar, this is the king of stouts, boasting high alcohol and plenty of malt character with huge roasted, chocolate, and burnt malt flavors. A chewy malt sweetness with suggestions of dark fruit and flavors of higher alcohols are quite evident. Hop character from Columbus, Chinook, and Ahtanum, round out the attack on the senses. Aged six months in Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels mellowed the alcohol esters, replacing them with sweet vanilla and a slight char flavor. 12% ABV
BBA Take it to the Limit Barleywine
An American-style Barleywine. It displays a deep amber color, with Crystal and Munich malts presenting strong fruity-esters in the aroma while the American hops identify this as an American take on a classic. The high alcohol is evident, but subdued by the oak and char from the bourbon barrels, adding a complexity to this smooth barleywine. 14.5% ABV
Tomorrow is Cancelled West Coast Style Double IPA
A blend of Rahr 2 row and pilsner malt make for a light malt flavor to let the hops stand out in this one. Amarillo and Centennial are the players that make this one, with hints of orange, pine, grapefruit, and lemon. 8.8% ABV
Peaches and Cream Belgian Blonde Ale
This one starts off with a nice light spice from the use of a special blend of Belgian style yeast. It transitions into peachy goodness from 504 lbs. of peach puree and a mild creaminess from the addition of lactose. 5.6% ABV

Half Moon Bay Brewing Company will be hosting a special tasting of the Coast Guild collaborative brew: Kol-i sch-ee, a Kölsch style ale with Admiral Pilsner Malt, Hallertau Blanc and Galaxy hops, with a touch of lime leaves. The beer was brewed by the brewers at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company along with brewers from Hop Dogma Brewing Company, Fruition Brewing, Brewery Twenty Five, and New Bohemia Brewing Company.
