Brews & Views: Local Affordable Housing on the Coastside and our Farmworker Community

Last night Brews & Views welcomed Half Moon Bay Vice Mayor Joaquin Jimenez, Lifeboat.Ventures General Partner and ADU.WORKS Founder Gopi Mattel, and MidPen Project Manager Serena Ip for a discussion on affordable housing on the coast and the farmworker community. Topics included affordable ADU units, the state-funded housing project by MidPen Housing Corp, and how the county and state can provide immediate affordable housing for our farmworkers and underserved immigrant community on the San Mateo County Coastside.

It was another packed house at our sister location Mavericks House. There was a healthy discussion about how to approach new housing and how all methods need to work in harmony both with each other and the community.
