Celebrating International Women’s Day with a Special Brew

In preparation for International Women’s Day 2018, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is doing something special. The ladies of the organization got together and helped brew up the A League of Their Own IPA, a New England style IPA featuring Pink Boots Society hops and a touch of pride.

The Pink Boots Society is an organization whose mission is to assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education. The proceeds of the specialty hops that we purchased to make the A League of Their Own IPA contribute to the Pink Boots Society Scholarship Fund. This year, the fund will help a female industry professional attend the UC Davis Intensive Brewing Science for Practical Brewing session. We are extremely proud to support this organization and the great things they do to advance women in our industry!

Join us as we pull some pints of the very special A League of Their Own IPA and celebrate International Women’s Day this March 8th! The special beer will be on tap the evening of March 8th until it’s gone, so don’t miss your chance to try it.
