We welcome Dan Morain, for a discussion of his newest book, Kamala’s Way: An American Life. A revelatory biography of the first Black woman to be elected Vice President of the United States.  In Kamala’s Way, longtime Los Angeles Times reporter Dan Morain charts how the daughter of two immigrants born in segregated California became one of this country’s most effective power players. Attendees are encouraged to preorder their book at our local bookstore, Ink Spell Books.

Lenny Mendonca, co-founder of the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company, is the former Chief Economic and Business Advisor to Governor Gavin Newsom of California. He is a Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey & Company and a Lecturer on Inequality at the Stanford Business School.
